Head Pastry Chef at CÉ LA VI you will be the driving force behind
our pastry program. You will lead and inspire our pastry team,
oversee kitchen operations, develop new dessert menus, and ensure
that our guests experience the finest in pastry craftsmanship. This
role presents an excellent opportunity to shape the dessert
offerings and make a lasting impact on our culinary reputation. Key
Responsibilities - Lead the creation and execution of dessert
menus, including pastries, cakes, and other sweet treats. -
Supervise and mentor pastry staff, including Pastry Chefs, and
Bakers. - Maintain the highest standards of pastry quality, taste,
and presentation. - Oversee kitchen operations, including inventory
management, ordering, and quality control. - Ensure strict
compliance with food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations. -
Develop and introduce new pastry recipes and techniques. -
Collaborate with the management team to meet financial targets and
guest expectations. - Act as a pastry ambassador, representing CÉ
LA VI in the culinary community. Requirements: - Minimum 6 years
plus experience - Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Head Pastry
Chef in a high-end bakery or restaurant. - A culinary degree or
equivalent certification is highly desirable. - Exceptional pastry
skills with a portfolio showcasing your creative and technical
abilities. - Strong leadership skills with experience in leading
and mentoring pastry teams. - Proficiency in dessert menu planning,
recipe development, and cost control. - In-depth knowledge of food
safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards. - Ability to excel in a
fast-paced kitchen environment. - Outstanding communication and
teamwork skills. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and
holidays as required.
