with Stepdown/PCU expertise is needed for a contract position in
Lehigh Acres, FL. This role provides care for adult and geriatric
patients in a dynamic stepdown unit environment, supporting a
patient ratio of 4-6:1 based on patient acuity. Flexibility to
float within the unit and to sister campuses is essential. Key
Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in
the stepdown unit Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using
the Epic EMR system Maintain patient safety and adhere to protocols
in a fast-paced environment Adapt to floating assignments within a
50-mile radius, including sister campuses Uphold professional
standards and contribute positively to a respectful work culture
Qualifications/Desired Experience: Minimum 2 years of Progressive
Care Unit (PCU) experience (ED experience is not required) Current
FL or Compact RN license with recent verification on file BLS,
ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required Degree accreditation on
profile or at least 5 years of relevant nursing experience Ability
to work adult and geriatric populations Flexibility and willingness
