Key Responsibilities Read and interpret electrical plans, specifications, and scopes of work. Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs, labor estimates, and material cost analyses. Develop complete bid proposals for commercial electrical projects. Evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing for cost comparison. Collaborate with project managers to define project requirements and timelines. Maintain databases and estimating software with updated cost information. Attend pre-bid meetings, site visits, and coordinate with internal departments. Track bid outcomes and support project handoffs upon award. Ensure all estimates meet company guidelines for accuracy and completeness. Provide technical support and clarification during the bid and post-bid phases. Qualifications 3 years of experience in electrical estimating, preferably commercial projects. High school diploma or GED required. Strong understanding of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes. Proficient in reading blueprints and specifications. Skilled in using estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite. Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Effective written and verbal communication skills in English. Self-motivated, deadline-driven, and a strong team player.
